2018-19 Homecoming Court Announced

Friday, Sept. 21, during the West Memphis vs Marion pep rally, the 2018-2019 homecoming court was announced. Senior Lauren Miller was named queen. Senior maids are Loren Davis, Sydney Anglea, Shacorie Robinson and Miniya Brown. Junior maids are Rachel Gaines, Payton Holmes, Jakeria Barr and Morgan Franklin. Sophomore maids are Kendra Rogers, Praise White, Kaiya Tucker.

Queen Lauren Miller was overjoyed. She expressed her gratitude saying:

“I am literally shaking. I had no idea. Like, this is so exciting. This class has been amazing.” Miller said

The names were announced after a dance off between teachers and students. Two students from each grade were chosen along with two teachers. After an entertaining dance battle, the seniors emerged victorious, winning themselves a gift card. Despite the heat, the students seemed to have a high hopes and energy for the game tonight. This was shown as they cheered their classmates on.
